Back to Chiang Mai (Jan 2007)
I am back to Chiang Mai for holiday again. But this time round it is exclusively with my papa n mummy only. Papa wanted to rest and relax, hence this is a totally free and easy package.
As we are staying there for 1 whole week, there is no real need to rush where we want to go. Mummy has been pampering herself with massage and mani/pedi-cure while papa n I take our afternoon nap. Though I also cry a little, throw a little tantrum when I couldn't find mummy when I wake up. Otherwise, I think I can be considered to be well behaved!
Of course, papa has his fair bit as well by lazing around reading a book or simply doing nothing in a nice cafe drinking all sort of coffee and teas.
And this time, I have plenty of photos to show all of you. See the BIG difference with papa travelling with us... ...

FIRST HOLIDAY WITHOUT PAPA (May 2006)
Its the holiday season again! This time round Mummy brought me to Chiang Mai, but papa did not come along as he is too busy with work. Papa has been super super busy with work since end of last year after he was assigned a 'mega-size' project at Orchard Road. He says that we could only plan for our holiday either end of the year or early next year.
This is also my first time travelling on budget airline (Tiger) and besides mummy, there is also yee ma whole family and po po travelling. Though its budget airline, but the whole experience is actually quite great. I actually get to see the whole aeroplane at such close distant as well as walk up to the plane myself and not forgetting the cup noodle are fabulous!
This is a holiday for relaxing (not sure did mummy really manage to relax or not), eating, shopping and more shopping. And tell u one thing, mummy has been shopping so much that she forgot which folder did she save all the photos taken. So far, these are the only ones she manage to find.
See, this is what happen when papa is not around to sort out all these things for mummy :(

HONG KONG HOLIDAY (NOV 05)
Year 2005 is really an amazing year for me. First we went Japan for holiday in Feb, then Desaru in Sep and NOW, we are going Hong Kong in Nov.
Actually this Hong Kong trip was not in Papa n Mummy original plan and its a real unexpected holiday for us. The story begins on one Sat morning when mummy read in the paper that CTC is organising a special promotion for DBS credit card holder "$90 air ticket person to Hong Kong" for the 1st 100 customers. So she wakes papa up and asked if he is interested. The initial plan for that day was to visit Peter Pan Studio for our second photo shot, but papa think why not en route to CTC first and see how.
When we reached CTC, there was already a queue outside the office. Papa n mummy were so keen to try their luck and so we also joined in. Actually the whole experience was quite fun, papa bought snacks/drinks for us, we eat, we talk and we play as we wait. Fortunately for us, after waiting for about 3-4 hours, the staff told us we are within the 1st 100 customers. BUT then they told us that the $90 air ticket promotion does NOT apply to children (ME). I need to pay the full usual amount for the air-ticket. So unfairful, why are they discriminating against children? Sob sob..... I was so worried that papa n mummy will just buy 2 tickets for themselves and go without me.... how????
Luckily for me, my papa n mummy prove to me once again that they will never leave me alone. And guess what's next? Hong Kong, here we come... ... ...

Here I am at Disneyland Hong Kong. But where are all the Disney Cartoon Characters? Can't see any one around? Mummy, why is it not the same as our Japan trip?
Mummy says it will not be so easy to find and take photo with the Disney Cartoon Characters here so we shall just enjoy ourselves by taking photo with the Cartoon props instead. What a disappointment!

Papa n Mummy say they want to wait for the fireworks so that they can celebrate the eve of their 3rd Wedding Anniversary with Fireworks at Disneyland. How romantic with me in between them :)

DESARU HOLIDAY (SEPTEMBER 2005)
We have our second holiday @ Desaru. Actually its the company holiday trip organised by papa n mummy office. Wow, there are so many people and altogether I think there are 6 coaches. Papa is one of the organisers and has been busying running around doing this and that. Poor mummy was left to handle me and our luggage. However I overheard mummy telling papa although her body is aching terribly but she is happy the 3 of us are together holidaying. She reminded papa how much they regretted last year when they came to Malacca for their company trip WITHOUT ME and in the end did not really enjoy the holiday. Wow I didn't know I am so important to them :)
Papa/Mummy : "What do you mean that you did not know you are so important to us? Don't you know that EVERYTHING we do, we do it for you?"

MY FIRST HOLIDAY - JAPAN FEB 05
Guys, can you believe it! My Papa n Mummy brought me to Japan - Tokyo for my first holiday. It was freezing cold there but we had lots of fun. The first night sleeping on the Tatami flooring at a hot spring hotel resort (near Mt Fuji) was a great experience. I enjoyed myself tremendously rolling from one place to another. But my poor papa n mummy were busy moving and stacking all the furniture to one corner as they are so worried I might knock onto them.
Disneyland Japan is fabulous! The staff are so baby-friendly, we practically took photos with every Disney characters without having to queue (with the exception of Mickey and Minnie of course). Papa n Mummy could not believe their luck, all they need was to push my pram forward and the staff will signal for us to come forward for the photo-taking. (are they baby-friendly or cos I am cute to them???)
Thank you papa n mummy for the fantastic holiday. I love you. Muack!
